The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He is created from a water gushing forth. 6 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 and is no idle tale. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
