1/4 Hizb 27
< random >
Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, “Do not fear we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
