And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
