And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reduce (him) to an abject state in constitution; do they not then understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 to the end that it may warn everyone who is alive [of heart,] and that the word [of God] may bear witness against all who deny the truth. 70 Do they not see Our handiwork: We created for them cattle which they own? 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). 75 So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" 78 Say, "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life again: He has knowledge of every type of creation: 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned. 83
