We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
