All that is on the earth is doomed to perish, 26 And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 30 Soon will We apply Ourselves to you, O you two armies. 31 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 36 When the sky will split asunder, and turn rosy like the dregs of annointing oil, 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 For on that Day neither man nor invisible being will be asked about his sins. 39 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 40 The criminals will be recognised from their faces, so will be caught by their forelocks and feet, and thrown into hell. 41 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 42 This is Gehenna, that sinners cried lies to; 43 they shall go round between it, and between a hot, boiling water. 44 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 45
