Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
