Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
