The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
