۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
