[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
