When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said:"Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaitan (Satan) made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange (way)!" 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 Then the twain found a bondman from Our bondmen, him We had vouchsafed a mercy from before Us, and him We had taught from Our presence a knowledge. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 Musa (Moses) said: "If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught." 69 He said to Moses, "If you will follow me, do not ask me about anything until I tell you the story about it." 70
