Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And ease my task for me; 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 and remember You much: 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
