Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
