And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
