(Muhammad), say, "I worship only my Lord and do not consider anyone equal to Him". 20 Say: 'Surely I possess no power over you, either for hurt or for rectitude.' 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 excepting a Deliverance from God and His Messages. And whoso rebels against God and His messenger, for him there awaits the Fire of Gehenna; therein they shall dwell forever.' 23 When they see that which they were promised they shall know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say thou: I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord hath appointed for it a distant term. 25 He alone has knowledge of what is hidden. He reveals this to none, 26 Except to him whom He chooses as an apostle; for surely He makes a guard to march before him and after him, 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
