Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 By no means! They know that which We have created them from. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! 44
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
