۞ God says: "Do not take to two gods, for there is only one God. So fear Me." 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever blessings you have, are all from Allah – then whenever misfortune reaches you, towards Him only do you seek refuge. 53 And afterward, when He hath rid you of the misfortune, behold! a set of you attribute partners to their Lord, 54 That they may show ingratitude for that which We have vouchsafed unto them. Enjoy then, presently ye shall know. 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have provided them unto what they know not (false deities). By Allah, you shall certainly be questioned about (all) that you used to fabricate. 56 And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire. 57 When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female, his face remaineth darkened, and he is wroth inwardly. 58 They try to hide themselves from the people because of the disgrace of such news. Will they keep their new born despite the disgrace or bury it alive? How sinful is their Judgment! 59 [Thus it is that] the attribute of evil applies to all who do not believe in the life to come - whereas unto God applies the attribute of all that is most sublime: for He alone is almighty, truly wise! 60
