▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
