Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 and place it in a secure place 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
