Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those that pluck out vehemently 1 By the angels who release with gentle release. 2 and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 And the second followeth it, 7 On that Day some hearts shall tremble (with fright), 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 The disbelievers say, “Will we really return to our former state?” 10 After having turned to carious bones?" 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)? 18 "'And that I guide thee to thy Lord, so thou shouldst fear Him?'" 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 Then he turned away, deliberating, 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
