"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
