Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
