The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
