If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, nor was he supposed to be a poet. It is only the word (of God) and the illustrious Quran 69 that he may warn whosoever is living, and that the Word may be realized against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how We have created for them the cattle they master with Our Hands? 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped. 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose. 76 Has not man regarded how that We created him of a sperm-drop? Then lo, he is a manifest adversary. 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say, "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life again: He has knowledge of every type of creation: 79 Who giveth you out of the green tree fire, and lo! ye kindle therewith. 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is. 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
