And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
