۞ Say: O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful. 53 Turn towards your Lord and obey Him before the punishment comes upon you when you will not be helped. 54 And follow the best of that which hath been sent down unto you from your Lord there cometh on you torment of a sudden, while ye perceive not. 55 "Lest the soul should (then) say: 'Ah! Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked!'- 56 Or, lest it should say: had Allah but guided me, I should surely have been of the God-fearing! 57 or lest he should say, when he sees the chastisement: “O that I might return again, and be among those who do good.” 58 "(The reply will be:) 'Nay, but there came to thee my Signs, and thou didst reject them: thou wast Haughty, and became one of those who reject faith!'" 59 And on the Day of Judgment thou Shalt see those who lied against Allah - their faces blackened. Is not in Hell the abode of the stiff-necked? 60 But God shall deliver those that were godfearing in their security; evil shall not visit them, neither shall they sorrow. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, such are they who will be the losers. 63
