The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
