Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Have you received the news of the Enveloper? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 Labouring (hard), weary,- 3 They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire. 4 Given water from the boiling spring to drink. 5 They will have no food except bitter thorn, 6 Neither nourishing nor banishing hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 Well-pleased with their endeavour, 9 in a sublime Garden, 10 hearing there no babble; 11 Therein shall be a spring running! 12 therein uplifted couches 13 and prepared goblets, 14 well-placed cushions, 15 and carpets outspread. 16 Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created? 17 And at the sky, how it is raised aloft? 18 how the mountains are set firm, 19 And at the earth - how it is spread out? 20 So remind them (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), you are only a one who reminds. 21 You are not charged to oversee them. 22 However, as for him who turns away, being bent on denying the truth, 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Surely to Us is their turning back, 25 Ours is surely then to reckon with them. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
