Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the seas overflow; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
