The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 roaring over the hearts 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
