▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
