The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
