3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 This was indeed a plain trial. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
