We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
