The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 Who will be honoured 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and spreading shade 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
