(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 He plunged the villages 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
