۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
