The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 by the Promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 when they were seated around it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
