The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
