And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mountain, and drew him near in (Divine) conversation. 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention in the Book, Ishmael; he too was true to his promise, a Messenger and a Prophet. 54 He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book (the Quran) Idris (Enoch). Verily! He was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet. 56 And We raised him to a lofty station. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell. 59 Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught. 60 Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 this is the paradise which We grant as a heritage unto such of Our servants as are conscious of Us. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – therefore worship Him and be firm in His worship; do you know any other of the same name as His? 65
