Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lut said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 161 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 162 so fear you God, and obey you me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 Go ye in, of all creatures, unto the males? 165 leaving aside those whom Allah has created for you as your mates. Nay, you are a people that has transgressed all limits." 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said: 'Truly, I am a detester of what you do' 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 So We saved him and his whole family 170 Except one old woman, who stayed behind. 171 Then We utterly destroyed the others. 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 174 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
