۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
