Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
