ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
