We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
