Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
