1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
