So, I call to witness what you see 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
