1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?" 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand' 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 So this day they all are partners in the punishment. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride, 35 And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?" 36 Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him). 37 Behold, you will indeed taste grievous suffering [in the life to come,] 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 But the bondmen of Allah, the sincere ones 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 In gardens of delight, 43 (Sitting) on couches, face to face, 44 Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain, 45 Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 And with them will be mates of modest gaze, most beautiful of eye, 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 one of them will say, "I had a friend, 51 who would say, "Are you a confirmer? 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 Are we then not to die 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 For such a reward should the workers perform. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 The dwellers of hell will eat that fruit and fill-up their bellies. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74
